Getting started
How do I join?
Start a membership, choose a package, and we assign you vetted domains from the private inventory. From there, our team begins working to sell them while you track progress on your dashboard.
Which package should I choose?
On the numbers, Scale gives the best price per domain and the lowest commission, so most members start there. Starter is the smallest first step if you prefer to test the process before committing more.
What do I need to take part from outside the US?
A way to pay and receive funds in US dollars, and an internet connection. Everything else happens online through your dashboard.
Membership and billing
How does billing work?
Membership is $49.99 per month, billed every three months, which is $149.97 per quarter, in US dollars. It renews automatically each quarter until you cancel.
How do I cancel?
Cancel before your next quarterly billing date to stop future charges. You keep access for the rest of the period you have already paid for. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where local law gives you a right that cannot be waived.
What if a payment fails?
We may retry the payment, and access may be paused until it goes through. Updating your payment details usually resolves it.
Packages and domains
How are domains assigned to me?
After your package purchase, we assign names from the vetted inventory and show you each one with the reasoning behind it before any selling begins.
Do I own the domains?
Yes. The domains assigned to you are held for your benefit, and no sale happens without your approval.
Can I sell a domain myself while it is being managed?
No. While a domain is under our management, it is sold through the resale service so we do not interfere with active sale efforts. This is covered in the Terms of Service.
The resale process
How long until a domain sells?
Our target is within one year. Some sell in weeks, some take the full year, and timing depends on demand for that specific name.
Who sets the price, and do I have a say?
Our team recommends a price based on comparable sales, and you approve it. Nothing closes without your sign-off.
What if a domain does not sell in a year?
You can renew it for $50 and keep it listed. Renewal is optional and never automatic.
Payouts
How and when do I get paid?
After you approve a sale, the funds are collected, our commission is taken, and your share is paid to you in US dollars. Your sale and payout history stays on your dashboard.
Why might a payout be delayed?
The most common reason is incorrect payout details, so it is worth double-checking them. Your payment provider's processing times can also play a part.
Account and security
How do I keep my account secure?
Use a strong, unique password, keep your login private, and tell us right away if you suspect any unauthorized access.
How do I update my details?
You can update your contact and payout details from your dashboard, or reach out to support if you need help.
What about my personal data?
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we protect it, and your rights, including access and deletion in many cases.
