Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") sets out the rules for using the Domain Investor Club website at domaininvestorclub.com, our membership, and our services. It is part of our Terms of Service, and by using our services you agree to follow it. The purpose of this Policy is simple: to keep the platform safe, fair, and working well for every member and for our team. Domain Investor Club is referred to here as "we," "us," or "our."
1. Who This Policy Applies To
This Policy applies to everyone who uses our website or services, including visitors, prospective members, and active members. It applies to everything you do on the platform, including how you use your account, how you interact with the resale service, and how you communicate with our team and with others.
2. Permitted Use
You may use our website and services for their intended purpose: to learn about the club, to hold a membership, to purchase packages, to have your assigned domains managed and sold through our resale service, and to communicate with us about your account. You agree to use the services lawfully, honestly, and in good faith at all times.
3. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to do any of the following, and not to help or allow anyone else to do them:
- Unlawful use: Use the services for any purpose that breaks any law or regulation that applies to you, or that would cause us to break any law.
- Fraud and deception: Provide false, misleading, or stolen information, impersonate any person or organization, misrepresent your identity or location, or use the services to carry out or support any kind of fraud.
- Bypassing the resale service: Attempt to sell, transfer, list, or otherwise dispose of domains assigned to you outside our resale service while they remain under our management, or otherwise interfere with active sale efforts.
- Unauthorized access: Access or try to access accounts, data, systems, or areas of the platform that you are not authorized to access, or attempt to defeat any security or authentication measure.
- Scraping and copying: Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated means to extract, copy, or collect the private inventory, listings, content, or any other data from the platform, or reproduce our content without permission.
- Interference and disruption: Introduce malware or harmful code, overload or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure, or take any action that interferes with the normal operation of the services or with other members' use of them.
- Abuse of others: Harass, threaten, abuse, or behave in a discriminatory or offensive way toward our team, our members, buyers, or anyone else connected to the platform.
- Money laundering and sanctions: Use the services to launder money, to handle the proceeds of crime, or in connection with any sanctioned person, entity, or country, or in any way that would breach anti-money-laundering or sanctions rules that apply to us.
- Intellectual property misuse: Infringe our intellectual property or that of any third party, including by copying our branding, text, or design.
- Misuse of communications: Send spam, chain messages, or unsolicited promotions through our platform, or use member or team contact details for any purpose other than legitimate use of the services.
- Circumventing restrictions: Use the services in a way that gets around any limit, rule, or restriction we have put in place, including creating new accounts to evade a suspension or termination.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your account login secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it current, and to tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You are also responsible for making sure your use of the services is lawful where you live.
5. Monitoring
We do not routinely monitor how members use the services, but we may review activity where we reasonably believe this Policy or our Terms have been broken, where we need to protect the platform, our members, or our team, or where the law requires it. We will handle any personal information involved in line with our Privacy Policy.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any activity that breaks this Policy, please tell us at [email protected] with enough detail for us to look into it. We take reports seriously and will review them, although we may not be able to share the outcome of any individual review.
7. Consequences of Breaking This Policy
If you break this Policy, we may take any action we consider appropriate and proportionate, including issuing a warning, removing or restricting content, suspending or limiting your account, ending your membership, refusing to provide further services, and, where appropriate, reporting the matter to the authorities. Any commission owed on sales already completed remains payable. Action we take for a breach does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid, as set out in our Refund Policy, except where the law requires otherwise.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to keep the platform safe and to reflect changes in our services or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where the changes are significant, take reasonable steps to notify members. Continuing to use the services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
